Dipa was happy for her husband but somewhere in her mind, there was apprehension. Sumit would have to relocate to Dubai if he accepted the higher rank. Life as she knew it would definitely change when she would move to Dubai. Having reached a respectable position in her career in the corporate world she was unsure whether she would be able to hold on to her job or whether there would be any opportunities for her to explore in the new country.
Dipa’s fears came true. She was unable to hold on to her job as her company did not have any branch in Dubai. Sitting at home day after day she became desolate. At around this time, she came across a childhood friend, Riya, on one of the social networking sites. Her friend was working as a Human Resource professional in a global MNC. She inspired Dipa to start her career afresh in the HR domain. But Dipa did not have any training or exposure in HR. She started exploring the internet to know more about the HR field and was quite interested in the various options she found. Dipa also realized that she required taking formal training in HR.
At this age sitting in Dubai, it was not feasible for her to go back to university for the same. She started searching for options on the net for online human resource training. As luck would have it, there were a few institutes offering online training. They were offering a diploma as well as certificate courses in HRM for any graduates looking to enter the HR field. Dipa enrolled for such diploma course and found a new direction for her career.
